And..........after all the buildings fell to rubble...all the hopes and dreams were dashed...all the plans, work and schemes of man were silenced as the tangible evidence of lives' work wafted in the breeze with the papers, dust and smoke...what was/is left? Relationships! Death cannot separate us from, nor vanquish love....it only separates us from things.

My family's goal is to strengthen the relationships we have and reach out to build new ones...to use things...and to love people...not the other way around.

So what is important? "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and "love your neighbor as yourself."...Old words , but still alive and relevant today.

All the necessary and just measures we will use to eliminate terrorists and those who harbor and abet them will be ultimately and only treatment for symptoms of the root cause...hatred and selfishness. The sure and promised cure remains within the realm of what we teach our children within the context of strong, selfless, and loving families who are accountable to God.
